Why Can't I Just Google It?

Why not just use Google for your research projects?

  • Often more time consuming than using library databases
  • First few results are from commercial sites or Wikipedia
  • Sometimes hard to establish the credibility of the site
  • You will miss out on the 'good' stuff

Project Objective

Students will conduct biographical research on an artist of their choice and develop a slide presentation highlighting the significance of the artist's work.

  • Find and email themselves an article on an artist of their choice
  • Understand the importance of citing sources
